The San Diego Padres, in partnership with CBF Productions, are kicking off the summer with two back-to-back Memorial Day Weekend concerts at Petco Park on May 29 and 30, 2021. The Beach Boys, members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with special guests John Stamos and Mark McGrath, will perform a two-hour set of their catalogue of classic hits on Saturday, May 29 with doors at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, May 30, Grammy-winning reggae star Ziggy Marley will play a special tribute concert to his father, Bob Marley, with doors at 6:00 p.m.
Each show will take place on the Petco Park field with the stage set up near second base. Guests will have the opportunity to choose between a limited number of VIP seats on the playing field, luxury suites, vaccinated/tested sections, or socially distanced pod-style sections.
Tickets for both shows start at $29 and go on sale Wednesday, May 5 starting at 10:00 a.m. as part of a special presale for Padres Members, Corporate Partners, and FriarWire email subscribers and on Thursday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. to the general public.
Petco Park’s open-air environment provides for one of the safest concert experiences in San Diego County. Standard COVID-19 safety protocols from Padres home games will remain in place, including guests two years and older wearing masks at all times while not actively eating or drinking. Hundreds of hand sanitizer stations are available throughout, and the ballpark is cleaned regularly and sanitized by the “Petco Park Clean Team.”
Petco Park’s fan favorite food and beverage offerings will be available for both shows with socially distanced, contactless and in-person ordering throughout the ballpark. Petco Park is a cashless venue with credit cards, Padres Pay and other forms of digital payment accepted at all concession and retail locations.
