Old Town San Diego
- April 22, 2021
Old Town San Diego is a classic spot in San Diego easy to get to by car or trolley. Stop into the Old Town Courtyard that has its tourist attractions all around. Delicious chocolate from Nibble Chocolate, try the truffles or take home some hot chocolate packets to enjoy later. Wander through the large variety of shops in the courtyard and along the main old town road on San Diego Ave. There are a number of amazing mexican restaurants in Old Town, try them all if you can but for times sake, try Casa De Reyes for delicious chips and salsa and margaritas. If you are mindful to make a reservation and call early you can also skip the mexican food and walk further down the road to Sushi Tadokoro for some of the best quality sushi you may have in San Diego. So good in fact, that it received a Michelin recommendation in 2019. Don’t let the store front fool you, the food is FANTASTIC. More centrally located on your stroll through Old Town is New Orleans Creole Cafe also delicious with a quaint sitting area nestled between very old timey buildings and beautiful large trees.
