Head out for a beach day from the morning till sunset at Oceanside Pier. Pack some snacks or eat some local beach treats. We recommend to try Parlor Doughnuts for sugary scrumptious selections try their cronies. Right across the street from Parlor Doughnuts, they have Pier View Coffee Co your one stop shop for coffee, sandwiches, ice cream and even a small selection of beers. Camp out on the beach for the day with beach games like spike ball or paddle ball and an umbrella or if you have the time take a stroll on their boardwalk and pier.
Keep in mind that the main part of Oceanside Beach and pier is NOT pet friendly. This activity IS kid friendly, along the boardwalk there is a small playground and swing set that is right up against the sand just South of the pier.

Once upon a time, the pier had a Ruby’s Restaurant at the end, unfortunately due to COVID it has permanently shut down… I’m sure in the years to come there will be a new thriving and perhaps an even better restaurant. Until then enjoy the the walk and the fishermen you are sure to see casting off on either side of the pier. Also, for all you fisherman out there… if you forget to bring your own gear you are able to rent a pole and bait at the Bait Shop on the Pier if you decide you want to try your luck.
