Mindful Morning with Yin Yoga and Energy Breathing

The purpose of Yin is to transform and release tension. The shapes are typically held for 2-15 minutes. Chi Gong, translated as “energy breathing”, is a standing practice similar to Tai Chi that follows the yin practice to integrate, ground, and direct released energy.
Tyler believes that his strength as a teacher comes from being in a strong relationship with himself as a student of yoga, martial arts, and fitness. He practices the three of these daily and uses each of them as components to build a balanced body, nurture a disciplined mind, and forge a strong spirit.
