FREE Mindful Hiking Series
- September 17, 2021
- Shanahan Ridge Trailhead
Looking for a way to feel grounded and at ease this summer? We’ll be leading weekly hikes that focus on sensory exploration and reclaiming a sense of wonder, along with finding stillness and peace of mind.
During these easy to moderate treks, we’ll take time to meditate, move mindfully, and open our awareness to the world around us. Think of Boulder Open Space as your nature-based meditation studio.
You’ll connect with nature and community, and learn practices you can do on your own. Start your mornings feeling centered and complete!
LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, neurodivergence, disability, age, and diversity in all of its forms welcomed and encouraged.
Donations/Giveback: We acknowledge that we are on the land of the Arapahoe, Ute, and Cheyenne peoples and nations. Please consider donating to the Denver Indian Center, which serves the Denver metro area.
Your guide: Hosted by the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute (SWTI), a nature-based therapy and retreat organization in Boulder, Colorado, the mindful hiking series is led Tasha Eichenseher, a mindfulness-based transpersonal therapy intern at SWTI and a counseling student at Naropa University. Tasha is also a yoga and meditation teacher specializing in yoga for anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
(These hikes are not therapy and do not include diagnosis or treatment of any health condition.)
