Denver is open and we are here for it! Here is your weekend lineup:
Friday night check the premier of Sweaty Yheti Outdoor Axe Throwing Pop Up. This event is done best with a group, and you will save money by bringing more people with you. This event takes place in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood, head to Rino Beer Garden for a drink after.
Saturday, we have a stacked three activity lineup. Start the morning supporting local at City Park Farmer Market. We are so excited for summer markets to be back up and running. My favorite place to get variety packs of mushrooms and kombucha growlers. 60+ vendors will be featured. This event is conveniently placed next to my two favorite shops on Colfax, Twist and Shout and Tattered Cover. Check out the amazing record and book selection these establishments have to offer. Next, head to Kennedy Golf Course for the Annual Denver Bacon & Beer Classic. This event speaks for itself: breweries and gourmet dishes as far as the eye can see. There are plenty of time slot options for this event, so purchase the best fitting to your schedule. Support a cause that matters Saturday night at Herman Hideaway. This music showcase serves as a fundraiser for autism awareness. Porky Smoknque food truck will be on site for some delicious ribs and other BBQ favorites. Take a stroll down Broadway for more late night features, word on the street is Milk Bar is making a comeback!
We know this weekend is slam packed with foodie activities, but it only feels right to close out with Spicy Sunday. There will be a 7 minutes of hell spicy food challenge presented by Chef DeVante and Smoke in the City Denver. Hidden Gems Eatery will be on site to soften the blow with sweet treats and Squeezed 2 Please lemonade. Three DJs onsite all at the Lustre Pearl. Even if you cannot participate, hang around for the people watching. There will not be a dull moment onsite and take a walk around Rino to unwind the weekend.
